For many years, I have been specialised in specialist translations<\/strong> in the field of development cooperation (cooperaci\u00f3n al desarrollo, Entwicklungszusammenarbeit<\/em>).<\/strong> Since 2012, I have regularly been translating applications for support funds<\/strong> (proposals <\/em>for regional projects, project outlines), addressed to the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development<\/strong> (BMZ) or the Federal Foreign Office<\/strong> (AA), evaluation reports, monitoring reports, final reports<\/strong> on sponsored projects, intermediate evidence, intermediate reports, use evidence, narratives, annual reports, evidence of figures<\/strong> and many more. I am familiar with the various application forms<\/strong> (AA, BMZ, bengo, etc.) and the specific terminology of the various recipients (AA, BMZ), which differs to a certain extent between the different entities. I am also up to speed with the respective terminological source (for example for the AA<\/a>) and know how to use them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, I work according to the specifications of the OECD Style Guide<\/strong> [OECD Style Guide : Third Edition | OECD iLibrary (oecd-ilibrary.org)<\/a>] or by all means according to my customers\u2019 specifications. In this context, I am happy to refer to glossaries, word lists, specifications on gendered language or on handling abbreviations,<\/strong> etc.
To ensure that my customers\u2019 texts are always translated consistently in terms of style and terminology,<\/strong> I maintain my own, software-supported terminology databases <\/strong>and style guides<\/strong> for each of my customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, I regularly work on translations from the field of migration into the European Union<\/strong>, i.e. from the areas of EU politics and EU law. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
